How much does it cost to use RentSpree?

Creating a RentSpree account is free, and so are the core tools. Costs come in for tenant screening reports, rent payment processing, and optional PRO subscriptions.

Tenant screening

Screening packages start at $39.99 per applicant ($20 in New York), depending on which reports you include. Adding Advanced Verifications costs $10 more.

By default, the applicant pays the screening fee when they apply. Whoever creates the screening request can change the payee and pay it themselves instead.

Collecting rent

Tenants pay nothing to pay rent by bank transfer. A $3 fee per recurring payment is deducted from each payout and is paid by whoever receives the payment, whether that’s the landlord or an agent collecting on their behalf. See all rent payment fees.

Optional subscriptions

Two subscriptions add premium features for a monthly fee, and both waive the $3 rent payment fee. Landlord PRO is built for landlords managing their own rentals. RentSpree PRO is built for agents. Each article covers current pricing.
