What are the fees for collecting rent payments?

Collecting rent costs the payment recipient $3 per recurring payment, deducted from the payout. Your tenant pays nothing to pay by bank transfer, or a 3% fee to pay by card.

The rent payment processing fee

A $3 processing fee per recurring payment, deducted from the payout. It’s paid by whoever receives the payment, whether that’s the landlord or an agent collecting on their behalf. One-time payment requests are free.

What your tenant pays

  • ACH bank transfer: free.
  • Credit or debit card: a 3% fee added on top of the amount due. Card payments are limited to $5,000 per transaction.
