When will my rent payment be deposited?

ACH payments are deposited 3 to 5 business days after your tenant pays. Card payments are deposited in 1 to 3 business days. First payments, weekends and federal holidays can add time.

Standard deposit times

  • ACH bank transfer: 3 to 5 business days. Your payout starts once we receive the money from your tenant’s bank.
  • Credit or debit card: 1 to 3 business days. Your payout starts as soon as the payment is confirmed.

Check the deposit date for any payment on your Payments dashboard.

Why a deposit can take longer

  • First payment: 7 to 10 business days while the banks set up your first transfer and trust & safety verifications are completed.
  • Weekends and holidays: banks don’t process transfers on those days, so processing starts the next business day.
  • New or rarely used account: we may hold the payout briefly while confirming the funds arrived.
  • Account verification: if your account details don’t match, our payment partner Stripe will flag it and we’ll email you the steps to fix it.
  • Missing tax information: payouts hold until we have a valid W-9 on file. It’s also required for your 1099-K.
