A Guide to Requesting an Income Verification Report for Bright MLS Users

How to Request an Income Verification Report

  1. Opt into RentSpree by choosing RentSpree Online Application when adding a Residential Lease listing on your Bright MLS account
  2. By default, the screening options will include a Rental Application, Credit Report & Score, Criminal Background Check, Eviction Related Proceedings, and Income Verification Report at $49.99
  3. You will receive an email from support@rentspree.com with the ApplyLink, which you can share with applicants so they may complete the screening request
  4. If you would like to edit the screening options, you can log in to your RentSpree account (via rentspree.com/brightmls) and remove the Income Verification report if desired, for that specific listing (screenshot below)



  5. Please note that unchecking Income Verification would result in a new ApplyLink, which the agent would then have to update in their Bright MLS Listing manually and distribute the new link to their applicants as desired

Note: if you have a RentSpree PRO subscription, the Income Verification Report will be automatically included at no additional cost to the applicant and the screening fee will be $39.99.
