What do Grow signals mean?
A signal is our read on a past client's next move, based on their rental application. Renters get a buying signal now. Landlords get a pricing signal starting November 23, 2026.
Renter signals
A renter's signal is Strong, Moderate, Low, or No read yet. Open the contact to see the reasons behind it under Buying signals. Each reason is marked Points to buying or Points to renting, and comes from their rental application or public records: buying plans, income, current rent, employment length, current residence, previous residence, and ownership history. Signals update once a day. Renters who are working with another agent don't show a signal.
Why a contact shows No read yet
Some applications don't include enough detail to give a clear read, so those contacts show No read yet. You can still reach out to them like any other contact.
Landlord signals
Starting November 23, 2026, landlord contacts show how their rent compares with similar rentals leased nearby in the last 90 days: Below market range, Within market range, or Above market range. If there isn't enough data, you'll see No rent estimate.
Credit isn't used
Credit reports are protected under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). A credit report pulled for a rental application can only be used for that application, so we don't show it or use it in Grow.
