How do I turn on Rent Reporting & Rewards?

To turn on Rent Reporting & Rewards, powered by Piñata, accept the program terms in your RentSpree account. It's free, and your rent payment needs to be set up through RentSpree first.

Rent Reporting & Rewards is rolling out in stages. It's available now to renters setting up rent payment through RentSpree for the first time, and it will reach all RentSpree renters later this fall.

How to turn on Rent Reporting & Rewards

  1. Log in to RentSpree and set up your rent payment, if you haven't already. See how to pay your rent.
  2. When the Rent Reporting & Rewards prompt appears, enter your date of birth if we ask for it. The credit bureaus need it to match your payments to your credit file.
  3. Review the terms and check the box to accept them.
  4. Select Turn on rewards.
  5. You'll land on the Rewards tab with your welcome points. A welcome email follows, and your $30 welcome gift arrives by email within your first week.

If you closed the prompt before turning it on, you'll be able to turn it on from your Payments page later this fall.
