What do I enter under previous occupation on the rental application?
Q: What do I enter in the previous occupation section?
I have been at the same job for X amount of years/am a student/have only had one job and do not know the information to enter.
A: Select "None" under the "Work Status" drop-down selection.
Solution: In the occupation section, there is a "Work Status" option where you can select your work status. For the previous occupation, the options are:
- Employed
- None
Selecting None will allow you to proceed without asking for information that does not exist. However, the listing agent may still ask for more information and/or paperwork based on what you provide here.
