Every applicant’s identity is verified before you receive their screening reports. TransUnion validates who the applicant is first, then generates the credit report, criminal background report, and eviction records from official sources, so the reports are always matched to a verified identity.

Answers the applicant types into the application form itself, like employment, income, and references, are self-provided and not verified.

Two tools can help you confirm them:

• Auto-reference checks: RentSpree contacts each reference by email and text and asks them to confirm or dispute what the applicant entered. This is a RentSpree PRO feature.
• Income verification report: verifies the applicant’s stated income.
