Share an applicant’s screening reports
Share a submitted application package with anyone who needs to review it, like a landlord, owner, or another agent, straight from your RentSpree account. You can send it to as many recipients as you need while the TransUnion reports are active.
How to share an application package
-
Log in and select Screening from the navigation menu.
-
Select the applicant’s name to open their reports.
-
Select Share for review.
-
Enter the recipient’s email address and choose what to include in the package.
-
Add a note if you’d like. A pre-written message is included, and you can edit or replace it.
-
Select Share. Repeat these steps for each additional recipient.
Note: We’re testing an updated sharing menu with some users, so your screen may look slightly different. The steps above work in both versions.
What you can include
- Rental application, including C.A.R. and Texas REALTORS® forms
- TransUnion screening reports (credit report, background report, and eviction records)
- Income verification report
- Reference checks
- Documents your applicant submitted, like pay stubs or bank statements
TransUnion reports can be shared for 30 days after they’re generated. Once they expire, they show as expired in the sharing menu and can’t be included.
How the recipient views the package
The recipient gets an email invitation. To open the package, they log into a RentSpree account registered under that email address, or sign up with it if they’re new to RentSpree. The shared package appears on their Screening page.
