[Collect Rent] Landlords can Connect Tax Information & Bank Account After Sending a Payment Request
What is it?
Landlords who initiate a one-time or rent payment can now connect their bank account and tax information after the request has been sent to the renter.
Why does it matter?
This updated flow allows the landlord to send the request to the renter faster without spending more time adding information, thus letting the renter connect their accounts and initiate the payments sooner.
How does it work?
- Once a payment transaction has been initiated, the landlord can skip the tax and banking information and send the request to the renter
- However, please note that landlords must connect and verify their tax and banking information to receive the payment
- A banner will appear when viewing the payment transaction on the RentSpree dashboard, reminding the landlord to connect their information to receive the funds
- A banner will appear when viewing the payment transaction on the RentSpree dashboard, reminding the landlord to connect their information to receive the funds
Who gets it?
All landlords who use the Rent Payment feature.
