[Landlords] Newly added landlords will see new onboarding steps after agents share reports or assign a property listing

What is it?

When an agent assigns a landlord to a property listing or shares a completed screening package from their RentSpree account, landlords will be prompted to either create a free RentSpree account to view features and submitted screening reports.

Why does it matter?

This update allows agents to seamlessly have landlords create accounts to use features such as Rent Payment and view reports faster.

How does it work?

1. Once an agent adds a new landlord to a listing, the landlord will receive an email with the subject: [Agent Name] wants you to view applicants on RentSpree - Click the Accept Invite button to create a new RentSpree account

2. Alternatively, a different email will be sent to new landlords if the agent shared a screening report with the subject: [Agent's Name] shared an application with you - Click the View application now button to create a new RentSpree account and view the report

3. On the following page titled You've got new applications to review!, make your choice of how you would like to create an account by choosing either:

    • Sign up with Google
    • Sign up with Facebook
    • Enter your email address and create a password

4. Once an account has been created, the landlord will see different options on their RentSpree dashboard depending on which email was sent:

    • Walkthrough the site and learn RentSpree's features by clicking Get Started
    • Option to review shared reports by clicking the Review applications button

Opening a Share Report

1. Once a report is shared with a landlord, the report will be available under the Screening tab and by clicking the applicant's name

2. Review the TransUnion Agreement that is provided, select the I accept the Service Agreement check box, and click Continue

3. Complete the Your Information section on the following screen, as well as the Your Information & Your Home Address section (the applicant will not see your home address)

4. The application can now be viewed. You can also retrieve this information from the Screening tab on your Dashboard

Who gets it?

Any owner that has an application shared with them by an agent, or assigning an owner to any property.
