How To Process A One Time Payment As A Renter
How do I pay a one time payment as a renter?
As a renter, a landlord may ask you to provide a one time payment through the RentSpree Dashboard. These payments can range from Security Deposits, Late Fees, and more.
How to pay a one time payment
- Log into your RentSpree Dashboard and click on the Rent Payment tab on the left
- Locate the one-time payment request. This could be labelled as a Security Deposit, Late Fee, or another fee type. Please note this will differ from a regular rent payment, as monthly rent payment will have a 🔁 icon
- Select the payment method to proceed with entering your bank account
- Confirm or enter your Bank Information and Identity Verification
- Confirm the information is correct before submitting payment
- Once the payment has successfully been initiated, you'll be prompted back to the dashboard to see the status of your payment
You're all done! You're landlord will receive an email from RentSpree letting them know the payment has been processed. Please allow up to 7 business days for the payment to be completed.
