End or delete a rent payment

You can end a recurring rent payment any time from your Payments tab. All future payments are voided immediately, and your tenant is notified by email.

Payments set up for another user, like a landlord client, can only be deleted from the account receiving the payment. The steps below are for payments paid to your own account.

How to end or delete a rent payment

  1. Select Payments from the left menu.

  2. Select the payment you want to end.

  3. On the Transaction Details page, open the menu and select Delete.

  4. Select Delete again to confirm. Future payments show as Voided.

If a payment is currently processing, you can't end the schedule until that transaction completes and deposits. Changing the amount or dates instead? Set up the new recurring payment before ending this one to avoid a gap.
