FAQ: How do I change the occupancy status from Occupied to Vacant for my rental listing?
Once an tenant has mover out, property representatives can change a property's status from Occupied to Vacant on their RentSpree dashboard
The Reset to Vacant option, found in the property's menu, lets agents or landlords clear previous tenant details and prepare the property for a new listing.
How to Change a Property's Status
1. On the Properties page, click the three dots icon in the top-right corner of the property you want to update, then select Reset to Vacant
2. A confirmation pop-up will appear, informing you that the property will be marked as vacant. Follow the prompt to complete the update
- The Reset to Vacant option is also available on the Property Overview page
3. Once the property has been reset, it will display a vacant status on the dashboard.
