Get your 1099-K from Stripe Express
If you qualify for a 1099-K, Stripe emails you an invitation to Stripe Express. That's where you confirm your tax details, choose paperless delivery, and download your tax form. Not sure if you qualify? See Will I get a 1099-K for rent payments?
How to set up Stripe Express and download your form
- Open the invitation email from Stripe. It goes to the email address on your RentSpree account, with a subject line like Get your RentSpree 2026 tax forms faster by enabling e-delivery. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
- Select Get started to create your Stripe Express account. You'll verify with a 6-digit code sent to your phone.
- Review your tax information: name, address, and SSN or EIN. Update anything that's out of date.
- Agree to paperless delivery. Stripe emails you when your form is ready. If you skip this step, Stripe mails you a paper copy instead.
- When your form is ready, open the Tax forms tab and download your 1099-K.
To sign in later, go to connect.stripe.com/express_login and enter your email address and the phone code. Lost access to that phone number? Select I no longer have access to this phone number to verify by email instead.
