FAQ: Does RentSpree save my SSN/ITIN?
When applying to a property on RentSpree, we DO NOT ask for the Social Security Number (SSN)/ Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) on the Rental Application.
However, during the TransUnion Screening, the applicant will be required to enter their SSN or ITIN to complete the screening portion.
RentSpree does not:
- Store your SSN/ITIN to our system
- Share your SSN/ITIN with anyone using our site
- Have access to your SSN/ITIN internally
If you apply to another property after 30 days, the TransUnion verification will have expired, and you will be asked for your SSN/ITIN again.
