Does RentSpree save my SSN/ITIN?
What information is saved when entered on RentSpree?
When applying to a property on RentSpree, we DO NOT ask for the SSN/ITIN on the Rental Application. TransUnion DOES REQUEST IT, however, during the TransUnion Screening portion to ensure the correct results and so you can verify your identity with the bureau. We WILL NOT:
- Store your SSN/ITIN to our system
- Share your SSN/ITIN with anyone using our site
- Have access to your SSN/ITIN internally
If you apply to another property after 30 days, the TransUnion verification will have expired and you will be asked for your SSN/ITIN again.
