[Collect Rent] Agents can set up recurring payments for Landlords
What is it?
RentSpree allows agents to set up recurring payments for landlords.
Why does it matter?
This update gives agents more options when initiating payments for the landlord, making it easier for the landlord to start collecting payments with minimal setup.
How does it work?
After screening your applicants, the Payments feature through RentSpree allows you, as the agent or property representative, to set up rent payment requests for your landlord. This will enable you to set up the security deposit and other move-in fees.
Select Set up for Landlord or Collect Payments from your Dashboard or the Payments tab on the left.
Selecting the option Set up for landlord will allow you to set up security deposits, rent payments, and any additional charges the tenant will pay directly to your landlord.
1. Choose who is receiving the payment.
2. Once directed to the Set up Payments page, please enter the following information:
Property Address, Landlord Contact Information, Tenant Contact Information, Security Deposit Information, and Rent Payment Information.
3. If you do not wish to set up a Rent Payment or if you would prefer to add an additional payment, you can make use of Add another recurring payment and Remove options
4. Confirm all information is correct from the following screen by clicking Send Request:
Who gets it?
Any agent that is interested in setting up payments for the landlord
