[Collect Rent] Agents Can Set Up Payment Requests for Landlords
What is it?
Agents and property representatives can now set up payment requests in their accounts to send to the landlord to collect payments.
Why does it matter?
This allows agents and property representatives who have screened the applicants to initiate the payments to their landlords. This will reduce the number of steps necessary for the landlord to set up their payments.
How does it work?
- From your Home page, you can select Set up now from your Dashboard.

You can also click the Rent Payment tab on the left-hand menu bar and select Set up for landlord.

2. On this page, you can add the property, landlord's information, tenant, and deposit.
a. You can also add other move-in fees to this request by selecting Add another move-in fee.
3. Once you click Next, the request will be sent to the landlord. The landlord will receive an email so they can collect the deposit. The landlord will be requested to add a receiving account. We partner with Stripe to ensure secure online transactions.
Who gets it?
All agents, owners, and managers who create a new RentSpree account on rentspree.com.
Please note that if you are a current RentSpree user, you may see the previous version of our dashboard. The updated home page will be released to all users soon.
