How do I apply as a co-signer or guarantor?

If an applicant lists you as their co-signer or guarantor, you'll complete your own application and screening, just like they do. The one thing to get right is selecting your role when you start.

Step 1: Select Co-Signer or Guarantor in Rental Specifics

In the Rental Specifics section, choose Co-Signer or Guarantor rather than Tenant. This makes sure the agent or landlord receives your information correctly.

Step 2: Enter the applicant's information

You'll be prompted to enter the primary applicant's details, which links your application to theirs.

Step 3: Complete your application and screening

Fill in your own details in the Rental Application and TransUnion Screening sections as the co-signer or guarantor.
