Can I be screened if I'm an international resident?

You can fill out the rental application, but TransUnion needs a United States Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) to generate your screening reports — the credit report, criminal background check, and eviction related proceedings. Without one, TransUnion can't complete screening.

If you don't have an SSN or ITIN, ask your agent or landlord to send you a new application link for just the rental application, without the screening reports.
