FAQ: Does the Property Representative have the option to pay the screening fee?
At RentSpree, we give you the option of selecting who pays for the screening reports: you or the applicant.
The payment options can only be selected before initiating a screening. If you want to pay for the report but selected the applicant to pay previously, you'll have to initiate another screening that includes you paying for the application and sending the new ApplyLink to the tenant.
How to Select Who Pays
- Select Screening from the left-hand side menu
- On the overview page select Screen tenant
- Add or Select an existing property listing
- On the Application Package page, click Edit
- When selecting your application options, select Applicant Pays or I Pay under the Who pays section
